a preview of rebranding wailuku

We’re getting everyone involved in rebranding the town.  No one knows Wailuku like you do, so we’re asking for your kokua in sharing your vision for Wailuku’s brand.  You don’t have to work or live in Wailuku, we want to hear your ideas no matter where you’re from!

What is a brand?  A brand is a promise. The big idea. A brand stands for something (or somewhere) and demonstrates it. A brand is a “trust mark.”  – Tom Peters, Brand You

Come in!

Once you’re in, we’ll give you some sticker dots and post-it notes.  You’ll put green dots on images and ideas you love and red dots on ones you hate for Wailuku.  Stick post-its wherever you want to comment on anything!

Watch video interviews of the people of Wailuku. They talk about why they are here and what they love the most.  They are the heart of the town.

Leave as many comments as you want. The more the merrier!

See the findings from the last ReWAILUKU workshop that was based on infrastructure and urban planning.

Decide what Wailuku’s personality is like. If Wailuku were a chair, which one would it be? If it were a shoe, would it be a wedge, a stiletto, a Nike sneaker or a slipper?
